Teeny Show Stoppers (3-5 years)

 

A fun combination of Creative drama and Musical Theatre. This course will have children exploring the world of movement through drama combined with basic choreography from the likes of Aladdin, The Lion King etc.

Drama Scene Junior (3 year olds)

45 min classes once a week in a safe and nurturing environment, introduce our drama youngsters to the magical world of drama and role play. Classes focus on interactive fun activities aimed at developing communication, cooperation skills whilst building confidence and enhancing our youngster’s imaginations.

Activities include: Dress up, Role Play, Story Telling, Playing With Props, Creative Movement, Nursery Rhymes etc….

Scene Works Level 1 (11yrs & above)

Our Intermediate/Advanced Acting Program will challenge the young actor no matter what previous performance experience they may have. The kids will work on scenes & short plays with focused instruction to improve their performance skills and build their characters. Our instructors will challenge the young actors to step outside the box and engage their minds in creative and imaginitive ways to create characters that are dynamic and realistic.

Our Musical Theatre Level 2 aims to challenge the experienced performer, and help take their performance to the next level. Combining acting, singing and dance and exploring musical theatre both classical and contemporary, the kids will truly be exposed to all that musical theatre has to offer. ACTING FOR CAMERA Take 3 (13 years plus) The camera and the stage demand very different things. The Acting for Camera workshop reveals the many secrets and techniques required to act in front of the camera otherwise referred to as “the audience of one”. The course is a comprehensive introduction to all the different aspects of screen acting including: Screen vs Stage, Being framed, The Art of the Close Up (and other shots…), Cheating the Act, Typecasting, Auditioning and Presenting on TV.

Stage Mothers!
