For the first time in UAE, Maayavi Dance Drama Concept, the makers of ‘Piya Bawari’ are proud to present ‘PUNCHA-a-TANTRA’ – the 5 cool Mantras.
‘PUNCHA-a-TANTRA’ is a new age interpretation of five age old fables which have formed the basis of humanity for centuries. ‘PUNCHA-a-TANTRA’ is light hearted yet hard hitting. It aims to encourage the stake holders of tomorrow to be winners in the game of life - the right way.
In November 2011, auditions were held for kids from various schools in Dubai within the age group of 6-16 years, with a passion for dance, music and theater, to showcase their talents in this unique fun and educational dance drama production. Selected participants were then trained through special workshops focusing on dance, drama and music conducted over the next three months in preparation for the grand shows.
With enchanting music, stunning visuals and endearing performances by 55 enthusiastic Maayavis (as the kids are affectionately referred to), this dance drama production will showcase 5 stories with 5 moral values with a twist, styled uniquely to create a magical theatrical experience and a visual treat for kids and families in UAE.
