Select age group : KIDS | TEENS | ADULTS Taking part in a drama or performance class is an excellent way for children, teens and adults to improve their communication skills, imagination, concentration and collaboration skills. Drama also has a hugely positive effect on self confidence and this can be beneficial in school, career and life. A performance class is also a great way to keep fit, make friends and have fun! At DUCTAC we offer a huge variety of different drama and performance classes, from acting to musical theatre, comedy to LAMDA accredited examination courses. We have classes available for all ages from 2 to adult. |

Scene Works 1 (11-14yrs) Our Scene works acting program is run by two Professional Acting coaches and is dedicated to providing the best acting classes in Dubai and to putting all of our students on the stage twice a year. Youth Theatre Works (15 yrs +) Nobody else does Youth Theatre like Kids' Theatre Works do. This project provides a space for older teens to come together to create, challenge, explore, collaborate and be counted through the medium of theatre. Students are given the opportunity to discover the creative process in which to express themselves as an ensamble, developing powerful , relevant pieces to be staged once a year in March. Everyone over 15 is welcome to the very best of theatrical training in an environment that values their opinion and contribution. ACTING FOR CAMERA - Take 3 (13 years plus) The camera and the stage demand very different things. The Acting for Camera workshop reveals the many secrets and techniques required to act in front of the camera otherwise referred to as “the audience of one”. ACTING Scene 5 (13-14 years) Intermediate: LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) Examinations and Certifications offered Classes provide our young performers a stage where they can explore and communicate creative ideas, thoughts and feelings in a diversity of dramatic languages. Our young performers are introduced to numerous acting techniques in order to create believable performances. Skill Set includes: Acting Techniques, Verse & Prose, Staging, Improvisation, Vocal Works, Character Development, Theatre Terminology, Creative Movement, THeatre Practitioner such as Stanislavski, Shakespeare, Monologues, Scene Work etc. Students are encouraged to work towards optional LAMDA Solo Acting examinations with acccredited certification. |

Our yougng performers are introduced to numerous acting techniques in order to crate believable performances. Skill Set includes: Acting Techniques, Verse & Prose, Staging Improvisation, Vocal Works, Character Development , Theatre Terminlogy, Creative Movement THeatre Practioners (Stanislavski, Brecht), Shakespeare, Monologues, Scene Work. Students work towards optional LAMDA Solo Acting Bronze, Silver & Gold examinations with accredited certification. |
